Last weekend we moved. We feel really luck to live at this new old house for the next 2 years...at least. I never want to move...cause this is the view from around the corner...
Miles adores all of his uncles. It doesn't matter which one, the minute one of my brothers (or brothers-in-law) arrives at our house he never leaves their side. Last weekend Eric came into town and even though we only spent a little bit of time with him Miles was attached. Miles called him Ecick.
Last week my mom came to visit and brought Aunt Tori, Uncle Evan, Aunt Kari, Aunt Courtney and cousin Kate. Aunt Lauren and Aunt Ashley also came to hang out. We had such a fun time. About 2 minutes after everyone left Amelia said, "I just miss them already. Why can't they live at our house?"
Amelia was definitely spoiled for her birthday this year from so many family members and friends. She received some money from several relatives and used it at the toy store...she picked out a tutu and a hello kitty stamp set. She promptly put them to use as soon as we got home.
On March 13 Amelia turned 4. It was a much anticipated birthday. And almost every day since Amelia has said, "I really miss my birthday." We spent her birthday and the day after at Disneyland. The pictures speak for themselves. The kids loved the teacups, Dumbo, It's a Small World, the carousel, Winnie The Pooh and the parade. They did not like Snow White (it made Amelia sob) and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, which Miles declared scary.
The other day Amelia spent about 15 minutes on the couch with Miles instructing him in the use of the Ipod. It was cute to listen to, and I think I learned some things.
Amelia has always wanted to take the train here in San Diego. A few weeks ago, one of the girls at church organized a trip from Solana Beach to Old Town. We had a fantastic time.
Back in February we went to the Wild Animal Park with Aunt Courtney, Kate, and Aunt Kari. I got these cute pics of Aunt Kari with the Amelia and Kate. So perfect.
And, I snapped this cute picture of Miles on the safari ride. He LOVED it.
Waaaaaaaaay back in January Hannah and Grant Campbell stayed at our house overnight. Hannah is Amelia's best friend and for some reason Grant seems to likes Miles, despite Miles best attempts to taunt and torture Grant.
We had a lot of fun. All of the pictures were fuzzy, but you can tell the kids had a fun time.
