Dance Class

Amelia started a ballet/tap dance class last week. She has been planning for this for weeks and we talked about it almost everyday. She was so excited when the day finally arrived. Here she is heading out the door.

Holding Miles

Amelia asks to hold Miles all the time. Good thing Miles loves it.

Easter

We dyed Easter eggs for the first time. I had never even boiled an egg before...I had to look up directions online. Embarrassing I know. But, Amelia & I had a good time. No one in our family likes to eat them...so we threw them away when we were done.

First Taste of Chocolate

The other day Miles was being very, very quiet in the other room. I went to check on him and found this...
Miles found a piece of Easter candy on the floor. He ate it wrapper and all. I think he enjoyed himself.

Random Photos

Miles is a vacuum cleaner. After each meal he crawls under the table for his second dinner...snacking on all the crumbs.

Amelia & Miles really, really love to be together.

The Birthday Celebrations Continue...

My family came to visit a few weeks after Amelia 's birthday to continue the celebration. We opened gifts and then spent the afternoon playing games at the beach
Aunt Lauren bought Amelia a make-up box and filled it with about 8 sticks of chapstick. Amelia was in heaven. The next day she told us, "Mom, I've always wanted a pink sparkly make-up box."

We've played this Cootie game many, many times since getting it from Uncle Brian & Aunt Courtney. Thanks Guys!
Grandma Gaylene & Grandpa Steve bought Amelia about a million beads and some stretchy string. Amelia has many necklaces and bracelets she now proudly wears. And, many of her friends have also participated in the jewelry making. It's been an awesome gift.

And, here is Chris loving our niece Kate. She is sure a cute girl.

She thinks i'm Cinderella

Amelia: I'm going to lock you in a tower forever.
Me: Ok. I guess I can't cook dinner then.
Amelia: Don't worry Emily. There's a kitchen in the tower.
