Our Song.

I've always considered Dannys Song by Loggins & Messina our song. Chris has played it for me since we got married and it was the first song he played on the guitar for Miles just 2 days after his birth.

Just didn't want to forget.

missing baby amelia.

We've been using an old camera the past few weeks because I left our regular camera at my parents house. I found this picture still saved on it. I'm pretty sure I will miss this little girl for the rest of my life...somedays I wish she could've stayed this age forever.

Amelia has started pronouncing all one syllable words with two syllables. So...

now becomes no-ow
school - scho-ool
nap - nay-ap

it makes her sound like she is from the south...south utah county.

A Thumb Sucker

Miles really wants to suck his thumb. He works so hard to get it in his mouth and when he does he can keep it there for a really long time.


A creative soul

Amelia LOVES to watch TV and play computer games. She recently figured out how to manuever the mouse...as you can see it takes a lot of concentration.
I love that she can play games on the computer, because they occupy her while I am in the shower. Since she likes computer games so much I have to limit how much time she spends on them.

Amelia also likes to express her creativity through painting.

She also expresses her creativity through music. Amelia's just started to make up her own songs.

Miles Meets Grandma Cleo & Grandpa Mark

While we were in Utah earlier this month we took Miles and Amelia to Payson, so Grandma Cleo & Grandpa Mark could meet Miles.

We pretty much spent the entire time gabbing while Grandma and Grandpa snuggled with Miles. We had such an enjoyable time! Grandma Cleo really has a way with babies...I think they equally adored each other.

I couldn't decide which pictures to post, so I am posting most of them...












Utah Trip

Amelia, Miles & I headed to Utah for a week in September so that Chris could work and because I adore visiting my in-laws and siblings.

We fit a lot of fun into our week...

We stayed with Aunt Ashley & Uncle Bryan (and their rambunctious dog, Zeus)

dressed up like a fairy (thanks for the outfit grandma stephanie!)
played with Uncle Todd
visited Snowbasin and rode the lift to the top of the ski run.

danced to Mamma Mia. She now knows all the words...

learned how to play t-ball

cooked with grandma

and snuggled

even Brooke got some lovin'
and we even saw Aunt Jenny for about 5 minutes (seriously...she's a very busy lady)
It was a fantastic trip...and we can't wait to do it again soon!
