Amelia's Halloween Story

Written for preschool:

Once upon a time there was a ghost. He lived in the arctic. And one day he found a jack-o-lantern. And then one day the jack-o-lantern found a polar bear.

And one day the ghost got scary, and the jack-o-lantern got scary, and the polar bear got scary. The ghost chased the jack-o-lantern, and then the jack-o-lantern chased the polar bear.

And then one day they made friends with each other. They all liked to play "chase." Two of them got married—the polar bear and the ghost got married.

Candles

A few weekends ago Chris helped the kids make sand candles. The kids had a blast and we love how the candles turned out.

Visiting Grandpa Mark & Grandma Cleo

Siblings

Amelia and Miles love to hold Henry, but as you can see it is rather difficult, since he is at least half their size. Henry usually likes it when they hold him. Just seconds before I took these pictures he was smiling and giggling.

Amelia & Kerianne

Amelia has a really great friend, Kerianne. They play together for hours...always happy and sharing and content with each other. It's wonderful to watch them play.

Visit to Grandma & Grandpa Smith

After Eric's wedding we spent a week with Grandma & Grandpa Smith in Utah. As you can see we were very busy with lots of adventures...fishing, camping in the backyard, roasting marshmallows, etc. Never a dull moment!

Eric's Wedding

We traveled to Idaho Falls in August for Eric & Lacie's wedding. It was a great day...though, it was almost 95 degrees outside the temple...we were roasting!

Despite the heat, it was a beautiful wedding and we are so happy to have Lacie in our family!
